I live under the motto "Why not?": why not to try be open for everything happening around as a good student in class and keep my eyes, ears and soul open for new people and new experience, why not to be honest and sincere with people, why not to try something new which I have never done before, why not ... I am sure you can continue this list for me because we are like-minded people here on Couchserfing, so why not to approve my surf request right now or send a host request to me? :)

PHILOSOPHY

This life is about emotions and feelings. Let's try to live like today is the last day of our life and let's learn like we will live eternally.

It doesn't matter how many times your heart beats. It matters how often you can feel it.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Remember the movie "Pay it forward"? I completely support this idea.

I do my best to travel as much as possible whenever I have at least a spare couple of days. I mostly travel alone and I am very open for hanging out and finding new friends in every new place I go to.

While travelling I usually stay by couchsurfing because it is such a challengable way to make a good new friend and get to know a person well for a very short period of time. I hosted people myself for 1-2-3 days and sometimes they stayed longer just because we both forgot that we had met each other only a few days before.

I used to host couchsurfers a lot when I lived in my apartment in St Petersburg. This year I am a student living on campus and cannot host temporarily. But I will start hosting again as soon I have my own place to share with my guests :)

I am very unpretentious in living and trying to follow buddhist ideas of having eveything by having nothing. A place to sleep on, hot shower and a new friend to share a dinner or a few drinks together. This is everything I need. If my host can show me around it is amazing. But when it is not possible it is absolutely OK, I can easily hang out by myself for a while.

I see couchsurfing as mutually useful for surfers and hosts. Whenever I am capable I am glad to be of use at my host's home. So if you need someone to walk your dog, help at the household or with cooking I would be glad to help ;) But, of course, communication and good vibes are of the first priority so please don't hesitate to be straightforward with me if you think that somethng is going not in the best way. I am sure we can make it work out!

P.S. I also tried a bit of hitchhiking last summer and looking forward to repeat this amazing experience again.
