About Me

CURRENT MISSION

At this moment? Learning form others! That's the reason why I'm teacher of Spanish in international environments.

ABOUT ME

My colleges and friends describe me as positive, friendly, responsible and with a great sense of humour. I personally like to meet different people and to learn from them everything I can, which means to see and value the strengths of everyone to develop my personality and share my experience with them. As you can already imagine, I'm a quite reflexive guy and I always try to use this to help my friends.
Besides this, I like changes during my week, from relaxing plans to crazy nights with friends. Everything can be fun and interesting at its proper time!

PHILOSOPHY

I think we are all different in a way while, of course, there are many things in common. And more important, there is no right or wrong about who you are, how do you think, what you believe or how do you behave. We all have our own history of experiences and that makes us different and rich in a way. For this reason, I don't like to judge reactions or decisions of others, I don't like to classify people and I don't like to generalize. I love exceptions and I think we all can be exceptional if we want to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I moved to the Netherlands eight years ago when I was 20. Since then, I've always offered my place to friends and friends of friends to stay in case of need. At the same time, I was offered different places from my friend to stay for travelling. In this way I've been in Paris, Berlin, different locations in Spain or Graz (Austria).
Maybe one of the most remarkable trip was to Cartagena where I stayed at a friend's place for some day I got to know that part of Spain. This friend, Fernando, talked to me about Couchsurfing since he is a very active member in here. Together with a common friend we travelled around, finding new places to visit, meeting new people and getting into the life of the town.

Interests

Reading psychology and/or philosophy. I like to reflect about life, to find interesting ideas that can be develop and to understand feelings and emotions because they influence us to take decisions and to face our lifes (in a good or a bad way).
I also play piano and, since I studied the classics, I'm right now interested in pop, improvisation and jazz music.
Besides this, I like to do sport, especially fitness and krav maga, I train those every week.
Body, Mind and Art! This are my interests!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: alternative-rock, indie rock, especially if it's sang in English, don't know why. My favourite: Franz Ferdinand.
At this moment I don't actually watch many movies, I'm more into series: Breaking Bad, Dexter, Game of Thrones, How I met your mother, Suits, Homeland...
About books, anything related to psychology or philosophy is fine, especially if they make me reflect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've done in my life is to change to the person I am right now... and still changing! I used to be quite shy, very bad in languages, I studied in the sciences-technical branch at the highschool... And now, I love to meet new people, I get very comfortable shearing with people I've just met, I learnt to speak several languages, I dedicate my professional life to the linguistics and I don't feel I'm shy any more. Ten years ago, I couldn't believe that I would became the person I am right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Besides discussing about the sense of life or stupid things... I can teach you Spanish, that's my job! And could help you out with your Italian.
I just wanna learn from your experience! :-)
