About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life

ABOUT ME

I am an avid walker who enjoys travel and good times with a variety of different people. I am a good communicator and a good listener. I enjoy business opportunities and I imagine myself opening Steverino's by the Sea in some tropical destination in the Caribbean one day. I have been a good parent to my 19 year old son Gabriel, who has left the nest to pursue his post secondary studies.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone gets to believe whatever they want. I am a free thinker. Life go's by so quickly. Get off the treadmill and have the courage to let go and fly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done any surfing yet. I see this service as an opportunity to meet people in foreign lands who can guide me and inform me as I travel thru.

Interests

I love to read about business and metaphysics. Quite the different mix. I am into exercise and healthy eating. I have a wonderful sense of humour and wish to live life to the fullest. I have worked in the real estate industry for 12 years in British Columbia, Canada and it is now time for me to explore other opportunities in other countries. I get along well with almost everyone I meet. I appreciate what other people bring to the table.

Music, Movies, and Books

Diana Krall, Bob Marley, James Hollis ( Jungian Psychotherapist)
Caribbean (the book) by James Mitchener. I am reading it now in preparation for my winter journey south.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Ecuador to install water purification systems in the nineties. I met and developed a friendship with the minister of health, Plutarco Naranjo. I spent 3 glorious weeks in the jungles and the mountains meeting the beautiful people of this peaceful country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to appreciate life more fully from the people I meet. I want to wake up from this western trance and fully grasp the beauty of this time and place thru my experiences with them.
I bring laughter and a lighter sense to the people I meet. I have wisdom to share from the many roads I have walked down in life. I love animals and children as well.
