Hey, there!
My name is Renato, I am Brazilian and physiotherapist. Currently, I am a researcher in a Federal University, I work with patients with Parkinson's disease, specially rehabilitating their gait (walking) . For this, I use the music, with a technique called rhythmic auditory stimulation. I think my profession says a lot about my personality: the availibilty for helping people, the hope deposited to solve a problem and hard work to achieve a goal.

My best friends have always been people that have shared mutual interests. We have had the kind of friendships that revolved on activities and projects that we worked on together. Whether it was partying, cooking, writing, or playing sports. But I guess I'm jumping ahead of myself. I want to say that I am a friendly person, with a healthy curiousity with the world around me.

I'm a traveller and I make wherever I am the best it can be. I like to have fun, and I'm easy to entertain. I'm a calm, open-minded and easy going guy. I enjoy making new friends, hanging out and exchanging ideas.

PHILOSOPHY

I know it sounds like a cliché, but I really like to enjoy each day to its fullest. I enjoy the outdoors and traveling. I firmly believe that each of us have only one life and we should enjoy it and do all the things that we dream about.

I haven't had so much CS experience so far but would like to improve this and meet many new people!

Interests

I enjoy several kinds of sports: running, cycling, hiking, football and outdoor sports in general. Furthermore I love traveling and meeting people from different countries, as most of the CS community's user too. Besides that, listening to music can be counted as one of my hobbies, accompanied by going to concerts & festivals during summer. I'm in for clubbing & partying, however, also frequently enjoy having non-superficial conversations. Finally, I appreciate cooking with/for friends and watching movies/series.
