About Me

ABOUT ME

Hello everyone. My name is Stefano. I'm originally from Ivrea, a small and beautiful town near Turin, northern Italy. At the moment I'm pursuing a degree in Theology and Geography in Maynooth, Ireland.
I can describe myself as a person with manifold interests and passions, which include the arts, travelling, history, global affairs and geopolitics, religion and theology, cultures of the world, nature, etc.
I have been told that I resemble an old Italian Renaissance aristocrat or a Victorian gentleman, but I think I am a very easygoing and adaptable person as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I combine my important Catholic faith (first source of meaning in life, though I'm not a fundamentalist...actually I'm quite liberal) with a few other interests and beliefs which together shape my personality and my way of living.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a classical person, in terms of films, books, art, architecture. And how can you blame me? I grew up surrounded by medieval castles and eating bread and Latin for breakfast.
Recently I'm opening myself to more contemporary expressions of the human spirit (e.g. queer literature, niche productions in terms of films and plays).
But still C.Dickens' good old novels, Vivaldi and medieval art are my daily bread.
