ABOUT ME

**Update: I am currently traveling so I cannot host anyone until this winter.**

Jimmy (my partner) and I like to couchsurf while traveling in order to make new friends around the globe. Now that we have a space for guests we host when we can. If we're unable to host you, we have lots of recommendations for campgrounds and things to do in the area!

My favorite activities include surfing (in the ocean and on couches all over the world), hiking, crafting, meeting new people, speaking Spanish, learning different languages, cooking, and dancing Salsa. I love to learn how to cook different foods from place I visit! If you also love cooking then please teach me how to make your favorite dish.

To make friends!!

I attend couchsurfing meetings in the local areas and have both surfed and hosted.
I've become close friends with a lot of people that I met at CS events in town and I'm always looking to meet more people. While surfing, I've had both positive and negative experiences, but I have found that the majority of CSers are the most interesting and friendly people that I have ever met and they inspire me to be the same.

Music: I play a little guitar and Jimmy (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/jimmayyy) plays the violin. I really want to learn the accordion! Inspired by the style of the band Beirut and music from Amelie.

Books:
I just finished reading the Harry Potter series en español and just started “El juego de tronos.”
I also just finished “Buffalos for Broken Heart” which is a wonderful account of a South Dakota buffalo farmer.
My favorite fantasy books are the Magicians trilogy and LOTR. Sci-fi would be The Expanse series.
I'm a sucker for old classics, I tell people that I like to torture myself but I know that it's not torture at all. Some of my favorites are The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Sun Also Rises, Jane Eyre, and pretty much anything by Jane Austen, JRR Tolkien, and Betty Smith.

Movies:
Most recently seen: Annihilation, Lady Bird.
All time favorites: LOTR, original trilogy of Star Wars, BBC version of Pride and Prejudice, Amelie.

Music: Beirut, a ton of little indie bands, Death Cab for Cutie, salsa and bachata music, Julieta Venegas, Carla Morrison, etc.
