Hi there! My name is Kelly, and I am a student services coordinator in New York City. I lived and worked for many years at a school in Kanazawa, Japan. Some of my high school students and my principal will be coming to NYC for a school trip!

Students will be here August 8th and 9th. I am looking for three high school or college female students, to be "American buddies" for three female Japanese high school students. The goal of buddies is to interact, speak English, and make friends. You would accompany us as we do some sightseeing and activities around New York.

August 8th, we will:
- do a scavenger hunt around the city
- Statue of Liberty
- Cook and eat together, play cornhole, do American games - a BBQ without the grill. ;)

August 9th, we will:
- participate in an educational tour of Ground Zero and discuss.
(day ends around 4pm)

We will pay all expenses and activity fees for buddies. Happy to provide a letter of volunteer hours.
