Overview
About Me
My name is Sebastian, I was born in Punta Arenas, and then move to study to another city in Chile. I returned to Punta Arenas to work as a geologist, as one I've been in places that people usually don't visit (tourist or even people from the region). Do you know that hidden in the hills around Cerro Castillo (in the road to Torres del Paine) there is a small "oasis" (of course with the weather of Patagonia), or that you can capture more than 25 Condor in one single picture?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In a world so connected it's nonsense not to take advantage to meet new and interesting people and places. I would like to share the knowledge and experiences I have in Magallanes in the same way I would like someone to share his/hers knowledge and experiences of places where I haven't been yet.
I live with my girlfriend, and I have an extra room I can offer to couchsurfing couples.
Interests
I like outdoors, especially if it is in a places where people usually don't go. I do scuba diving in the freezing waters of the Magallanes Strait and enjoy very much a good coffee or wine with some nice conversation.
I also like photography of wild animals and landscapes, although I'm an amateur.

Music, Movies, and Books
I discovered music with Pearl Jam, I also listen to Pink Floyd, Tool, Manic Street Preachers, The National, Neil Young, Foals, Devendra Banhart, and other less known bands like Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson, Riverside/Lunatic Soul, and many others.
About books, I like Fantasy and Science Fictions because it takes me to other places, nevertheless, I'm in a campaign to expand my literary horizons, so I accept suggestions.
