About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel, meet people and gain life experience.

ABOUT ME

I am fairly quiet a lot of the time, very considerate and caring. I love to help people in any way that I can. I have a great sense of calm about me and I am always totally honest and open. I am quiet gullible in this way actually... but that isn't so bad, just means I fall for jokes a lot :P
I am an artist and I sell some paintings in a few shops in town. I have also worked in special effects and have experience in lots of trade work and can fix almost anything in the home.

PHILOSOPHY

To me everything is living and conscious and we live in an eternal now-ness! Because of this all things are expressed in love and the moment is the most important aspect of our being! I love discussing these kind of things with people :) but broadly speaking my ideal philosophy revolves around love and fearlessness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I said I am fairly quiet so what I tend to bring to a group is a good listener and a very capable helper. I love to fix things, and I love to help people in need. I can be funny and a great buzz when I lighten up a bit and get to know the people I'm with but admittedly I am not usually the life of the party so to speak. I would be more the dude who helps those who drank too much or talking to the person crying about something or the guy who talks to the police when they show up to the door! haha

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet! Only starting my journey :)

Interests

I love cycling to get around, either local or long-range. I am into hiking and camping, swimming, playing guitar and being creative in any way, discussing life, the universe and everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

hmm.. I don't have a tv and I have been reading mostly internet articles and blogs and things of I this nature recently. I read a lot of sci-fi when I was younger but these days I am more focused on my personal development and so I end up watching a lot of documentaries and reading books like The Road Less Traveled. I highly recommend that book! I can sit and enjoy any movie really but it would only be something I would do with other people. Oh I don't like scary or gory movies as they freak me out :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The memory that stands out most in my head right now is this: Seeing a giraffe for the first time in the wild in South Africa. It wasn't even that particular but there was just something about the way it moved. Kinda like waking up real emotional one morning and listening to Michael Jackson's 'Heal the World' and imagining yourself out playing with all the animals or something :P hah

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about what people think about other people and the world in general. I want to share my opinion on real truth, to which I think anyone who listens will understand and agree, and would already know deep inside themselves the truths that I would talk about. Just in case this freaks anyone out I am not a theist or an atheist or even agnostic. The real truth I refer to is the most wonderful and amazing truth that everyone knows and everyone needs to hear. It is that clarification that you are okay and all you need to do is go for it! but anyway maybe we can have a great lengthy discussion on this another time :)
