ABOUT ME

Easy-going, social, friendly, open to new ideas and cultures!
I am currently a business student at Northeastern University, and will be obtaining a degree in finance. I try my best not to be a lazy student although there are sometimes those lazy dorm days where I just kick my feet up and watch movies on my laptop.
I love to listen to other people talk. And the reason why is because every person in life has their own personal story, and each story has its own little parts that mesh together in a way that's right and unique.
I want to change the world someday. Which is why I am currently planning on volunteering abroad during the summer.
My dream is to travel around the world and expose myself to different cultures and lifestyles, to see how different people live their lives. But before I can do that I must earn a lot of money because travelling does put a dent on your wallet. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am not an extensive Couchsurfer, and I have only surfed once but it was such a great experience that I can't wait to do it again!
I really would like to host but as of now, because I am living in a dorm at my college, I do not think my roommates would appreciate having travellers over. However, I plan on moving out my second or third year to my own apartment and I will be hosting then!

Interests

Rugby, horseback riding, hiking, and most of all, travelling! I also like to eat and sleep.
I also love animals very much. If I wasn't a business major I would probably be a zookeeper.

Music, Movies, and Books

If you're into house music, you will be my new best friend. Other than that, I am generally open to all sorts of music. I like alternative calming music very much. I also grew up listening to classical music. I absolutely love reading; some of my favorite authors are Haruki Murakimi and F. Scott Fitzgerald. My favorite book that I always have to bring with me wherever I go is perhaps Life of Pi by Yann Martel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably one of the best things that I've ever experienced was being able to study abroad in Europe for my first semester of college. Although at first I went through serious culture shock and felt homesick, this was probably the best decision I ever made. I ventured into foreign countries alone armed with nothing but some euros in my wallet and a backpack full of dirty clothes. It was the best experience of my life. I made so many great lifetime friends and learned so much about myself through this process.

If anyone here is a good cook, I could really benefit from some cooking lessons!
