ABOUT ME

My friends gave me a nickname "Bear", which probably fits.. big (I'm getting smaller while travelling), hairy (sometimes I trim the beard so I dont look too scary) and fluffy animal (well, beer makes my body round around the edges) ;)

I'd say I'm friendly, happy, optimistic (some might call me naive) and a little bit strange animal:)

I could be shy in bigger groups but I'm very open to individuals. When meeting new people I like to listen a lot and get to know them but among friends I like to entertain.

I speak quietly but I laugh really loud :)

I love to see things in perspective and I don't like black & white point of view :) there is always more than one opinion and usually more of them are right.
I have a different opinion than the others quite often but I don't like to argue, I like to talk about it :)

Travelling is my passion and I don't feel right while staying somewhere too long. Visiting new places and making new friends is a nice feature of the life on the road.

I'm a nature sort of an animal. I love to get lost in the middle of the woods and listen to the nature but I like to explore the cities and the beautiful things people could build as well.

I like to wear black (makes me feel good, but still didn't figured out why :)) but I love the colours of the world. So far I think that greenest is grass of Ireland and bluest are waters of Greece.

I'm a dog person and I'd pet every dog I meet but I've had a cat sister for 11 years and she's one of my best friends on this planet. And well I meow time to time.. but i don't bark! Which doesn't mean I bite! :)

I like to eat with my hands but I love to play with chopsticks :)

I love beer and all its varieties but I like to enjoy wine as well. I always prefer quality over quantity and I wont be impressed with someone who can drink 10 beers and still walk straight or drink one beer in 2 seconds :) I see it as a waste of time, money and a beer! Needless to say the beer wasn't probably good anyway :) And I don't like when people do shots of whisky, You suppose to sip that thing!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When on the road I'd like to share my experiences from travelling around..
When I'm home I'd like to offer a place to stay or just to go for a drink and talk. I can recommend a lot of things to do around the place I live or the places I travelled around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Best thing ever! Been on the road for about 8 years now and found some good friends here, met amazing people and shared many smiles. I surfed only couple of couches "officialy" but I've been invited to share time and place with people I've met on the road. I also like to give back or maybe "pay it forward" is better description. When I'm home I'm always trying to help friends and people on the road..

I love to try, taste, meet, visit and pet new things, people, animals, food and places. Connect the lines as You wish ;)

Among the things I'd put a bit front of the others are:

Music, (trying to) play guitar and now Uke :) , watch movies and shows, stand-up comedy, travelling, riding a bike and motorcycle, photography, sport (paragliding, snowboarding, skiing, swimming, surfing, squash), small breweries & craft beers, cooking and eating, oriental food (I love spicy dishes), computers and technology, learning new languages,
board-games (I like to play them out in the pub or restaurant, sometimes it confuses others which is FUN! And there's nothing better when strangers join in and helps You to play) :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Done: I'd say paragliding. Flying is amazing! But then it all goes around back to travelling that is slightly bonded to paragliding. I was able to leave my "home" and be on the road for about 8 years.. Getting more amazing every day ;)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I love to learn new languages. Besides English I'm trying to learn french, spanish and german so we can try to practice a bit. I also look forward to learn asian language any time soon :)

I want to learn to play piano, to surf, to skydive, to fly a plane, to ride a horse, to shot a bow and most important I want to learn how to make it all in one lifetime :) And I'm up to learning anything fun!

Thanks to CS I got down the horse riding and shooting :D Surfing came along by itself and now the rest ;)

I'm pretty handy with computers so that's something I could help with and show You a trick or two..

I like to cook so we can share some recipes or I can just make You a dinner ;)
