CURRENT MISSION

I'm taking this year off to try and experience as much of the world as I can, both physically and mentally.

ABOUT ME

I am a teenager traveling the world, though I'm not doing the typical contiki tour thing, instead I am travelling around and volunteering before I start college. I'm a bit of a dork, but I generally get along with everyone, and I am really open to trying new things! I love learning and writing and music and reading and polysyndeton.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is not anything having to do with faith, more based in scientific awe of the universe, and open to new spiritual experiences. I live my life according to my own personal views, which are ever-changing, but constant.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really like the idea of having many new experiences, both easy and difficult, although I prefer to stay out of jail and free of regret.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any experience with couchsurfing, but I really look forward to it.

Intereses

I love music and I play many instruments. I also act and enjoy singing and dancing though my dancing skills are comparable to a drunk ballet dancers, or good if a little uncoordinated. I draw and write, and obviously love travelling. I have taught English for about three months in Laos, so I have learned a lot about Buddhism and TEFL. I am really interested in learning new languages though, and would like to expand many of the ones I already know a few phrases in. I am from America, but I'm not a typical American. I love good movies and am really looking forward to being able to go to see them again after a three month hiatus.

Things I would like to learn: Anything at all! I love the idea of being a Jack of All Trades.
