ABOUT ME

I love travelling and going on trips and making new experiences. Life is short and I feel most alive when I'm on the road and figuring things out on my feet. It is important to create memories to look back on and I have enjoyed all my travelling experiences so far and I'm looking forward to creating more.
I have a fairly open personality and I'm quite an easy person going with the flow. I'm a highly considerate and intelligent individual and love meeting new people and having fun.
I work at an investment bank which can be a routine and has long hours occasionally and whenever I get the chance to take leave, I tend to go overseas and take a little break from the rush of corporate life.
I try to give back to the communities by being part of an charity called ABASA (Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of South Africa). The association host career days in schools of previously disadvantage areas in South Africa and try to provide as much information and insight into future careers opportunities young learners can have after leaving school. We also encourage young learners to work as hard as possible to achieve their dreams. In this way, the group aims to uplift poor communities and bring a better life to those who live within South Africa.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is there to be lived. Make your life an exciting one and one where you will have no regrets when you look back on it.

Interests

I'm interested in watching TV series, movies, reading books and exercising regularly. I love going out with friends and socialising over weekends and learning new languages. And of course, my number 1 interest has to be travelling:).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in Lyon, France, for 3 months on secondment with an audit firm and after that travelling solo all over Europe for about a month.

I have quite a diverse background as I'm originally from Hong Kong but emigrated to South Africa when I was small and I was part of the South African rainbow nation from the start. My experiences are unique and I could share with you my culture as both a South African and an a Chinese person.
