ABOUT ME

Whats upp? I'm Slater. I am an 18 year old Gap Year Student from California. I am here swimming, teaching swimming at a school for Autistic children, coaching water polo, and working various jobs to pay my way. I am very academic and love engaging in discussions about almost anything. I have a very laid back attitude but hold steadfast to my own principles. I am usually up before five in the morning for training so late nights arent my thing, however, I can be persuaded to go out. I love to be active and always be doing something whether it be sport or just chilling at the beach. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and sharing life stories.

I think that I need to be happy in life and what makes me happy is helping and benefitting other people

Interests

I am a nationally competitive swimmer and former water polo player. I love playing all sports but have a vested interest in academics. I hope to attend Harvard University next year and study History & Literature. I really enjoy reading when I can find the energy to do it. I also really enjoy writing and am currently working on two very different books.
