ABOUT ME

I've lived in Fayetteville, AR for 2 1/2 years now! I'm from Oklahoma although since graduating (and even prior), I have tried to make it to as many new homes as I possibly can. I love to travel, meet new people and see new things (generic, huh?). I love hiking, backpacking, camping, trail running and anything in the great outdoors. I am a beer and animal lover and I can probably identify any tree you throw my way!

I love exploring and finding new homes. In the past 3 years I've lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska and now Arkansas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed in Germany as well as met some great surfers in Prague. I surfed my way to the East Coast crashing in Nashville and Charlotte! I also hosted a lovely couple when I lived in Bozeman.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can't recommend this community enough! I have never had a bad experience and I have met some of the kindest, most open people via it. Everyone is so generous and it is simply a wonderful community!

Interests

Love hiking, traveling, and all things outdoors! I do love beer and have a life list of all the beers I have tried. My degree is in Natural Resources and Ecology Management so I do love trees and insects!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Wes Anderson movies. One of my favorite authors is Edward Abbey.
As far as music I am a lover of most genres! I love everything from Blue Grass to Rap from Indie to electric folk to classics and most things in between. Instead of listing all my favorites I'll list a few of my most recent concerts

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a month long backpacking trip in the Pasayten Wilderness! This is in the North Cascades of Washington. At one point I was on top of a mountain and could see Canada!

I've been on top of the Andes, I've Hiked to 14,000 feet in the rockies! I've stood in the Hagia Sofia in Turkey and touched the Berlin Wall. I've seen some wonderful things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always looking to learn and willing to teach. There is nothing more fulfilling than giving something to someone that is a part of you which that can fully enjoy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am goofy and easy going! I enjoy taking hosts to grab a drink or bite to eat or bring a long a 6 pack and some groceries so I can fix a nice meal for them. I can share stories and maybe ID that tree you've been wondering about in your backyard :)
