ABOUT ME

Travel Junkie & Adventure Hunter! Love to meet people from all over the world.

I was born in Japan and grew up most of my life in Chicago IL, USA. Now a proud parent of two boys, our family lives in San Jose CA, the geek & tech capital of the world.

I've lived and worked in Japan, US, and in Denmark. I'm very lucky to be able to travel for work and for fun.

Let your senses do the walking, drop the guidebook!

Smell of great food has never let me down, where there is great food, there is great people.

Walk towards great music, there are always fun people around.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm genuinely into cultural sharing and making friends. I look for people to do the same.

For those looking for us to host you:
- I can only host on certain weekends, please message me few days prior to your visit.
- I have two small boys, so be prepare for kids. Families are welcome.
- We are smoke and pet free home.
- You'll need provide your own transportation. San Jose is a suburb, not too much public transportation available. I can't pick you up or drop you off if you let me know the location in advanced.

To those potentially hosting us:
- We have two small boys (ages 5 & 4). Both very energetic and well behaved...(so we think)
- We can help to cook if you'd like and would love to share Japanese food (if you like...)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much through CS, but many throughout my college life, traveling through Asia & Europe. I'd love to give CS a try and experience the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed the Spartan Beast run, 12 miles of mud, hills, and obstacle madness.

Almost got to hold the Olympic Torch, shook the hands of Princess Diana, and rock climbed a vertical 70ft cliff in my first try.

San Jose is known for its Silicon Valley and the technology geek heaven, but it's also a hot bed for foodies. We have all kinds of ethnic food that's catered to its roots, ie. not watered down or Americanized. San Jose is so diverse, people from all over the world are here... also the great year-round weather helps too!
