About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world and meet new people

ABOUT ME

Although I am older than the average couch surfer, I love adventure, meeting new people, and staying active (see pictures). I enjoy the company those with the same basic attitudes and a desire to expand their own horizons.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal Philosophy = Always leave people and places better than you found them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The couch is now in Corpus Christi, TX and San Angelo, TX. I will consider requests individually in the meantime, but if I am unable to respond quickly or I cannot host at this time, please don't be surprised or offended.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So I have only surfed once and hosted several times, but my experiences have been good so far. I am picky about who I will host and will read your references before accepting a request. Don't be offended if I refuse a request, it may be due to a variety of factors including my military service obligations and have nothing to do with your request or your profile. When I do accept a host, I go out of my way to make your experience memorable (read what other couch surfers say about me).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Tokyo - My host was amazing and a great person to host at my home as well.

Interests

Cars, motorcycles, martial arts, reading, traveling, working out, yoga, cycling, and psychology. Believe it or not, I watch cooking shows and took home economics in high school (cooking and sewing). Who said it's not masculine to have skills in the kitchen?!?
