ABOUT ME

Hello everyone,

I have a really long name, but to spare you all the trouble you can just call me Gabe. The last two years of my life I've been living in San Diego doing some soul searching. It's been a crazy few years but I feel like I'm heading in the right direction. I realize that I have a passion for human development and just seeing people happy makes me happy.

I like traveling but right now I'm a bit bounded here in California. But I don't mind the weather ;)

I've only been in San Diego for about two years but I feel like I've been here long enough to call myself local haha! I love taking people out and introducing them to this awesome city so hit me up if you're in town. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Interests

Eating authentic food around the world. Listening to different kinds of music especially if it's live. Meeting people. Learning about new cultures. I play a little guitar if anyone is down for a jam session. And Jesus!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list but I'll try to select only a few of my top.

Movies: Zoolander, Hot Fuzz, Hook, Fight Club, How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek 1,2 and 4, Moulin Rouge, Mr. Bean Goes on Holiday, all the Pirates movies, Cabin in the Woods and all the Disney and Miyazaki movies.

Music: Pretty much everything, but right now I seem to be following the indy trend. But a lot of times I listen to bands that no one really know like Made in Japan, Branches and Run River North so if you haven't heard of them please check them out! From time to time I listen to post hardcore bands like Pierce the Veil and Dance Gavin Dance. I can listen to heavier music but I haven't been really keeping up with it. But Childish Gambino is my guilty pleasure. If you haven't heard of him, he's kind of crude, but he references all the nerdy things I like haha!

Books: The Hobbit, Interview with a Vampire and the Harry Potter books (I'm not going to lie, I didn't finish all of them. When they started making the movies I thought "what's the point of reading the books when you can just watch the movies" so I've only read 1-4). I'm trying to read more but I read so slow and I have a short attention span. Right now I'm reading short stories of Jean Paul Satre but it's going slow haha!
