About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become as worldly as possible, and bring joy and happiness to the lives of everyone I encounter :) I am currently on a 3-4 year trip across the world, working online as I travel from country to country. I will be in Europe for the next few months so if you want to meet up don't hesitate to reach out!

ABOUT ME

Hi friends!

I graduated in December 2014 from McGill University, and after working in Trade Marketing managing the Garnier brand I decided it was time to move on to the next milestone of my life; longterm travel and blogging.

I am a very enthusiastic young man who tries to help others in every way I can whenever I can, as I believe that helping others can never hurt you and always help develop the community around you.

As for living arrangements, I am extremely low-maintenance and only require a simple couch so that I do not sleep outside. I have been told I was a pretty good cook and truly believe I can be great company :)

Looking forward to meet you!

Joaquim Miro

PHILOSOPHY

Helping others can never hurt you, and will always bring about positive emotions that can be payed forward to make the world a better place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Honestly interested in everything. Every time I hear or learn of something new, I marvel at the fact I have that much more to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I organized an event called "Five Days for the Homeless" to raise awareness and money for the 30,000 homeless in Montreal. We raised $15,000 CAD for the cause, and reached thousands of individuals, teaching them about the unfortunate situation many people around them live in.

I started a website called "The Alternative Ways" which will reunite all the Alternative Ways of Traveling throughout the world (such as couch surfing!)

I try to make complete strangers smile through good deeds and random acts of kindness :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share/teach piano, english, french, and rudimentary cooking ideals. I also tend to have a positive outlook on everything in life, which is a philosophy I love to share with others.
I look forward to learn from everyone I meet, specifically learning what the people in question are best at.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories, laughs, wine, beer, great spanish-cooked meals, french & spanish lessons and piano lessons! :)
