About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn about improving our treatment of the world and persuading others of how important it is to protect what is left. We messed up, we can get it back on track and get some respect for the wild back in the process.

ABOUT ME

Born and bred in Kenya, trying hard to learn enough environmental and conservation science to work with animals and improve their lot for the rest of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

It is a shame we have become a society disconnected from the things that actually mean we can exist such as forests. I will never understand why someone would choose a film repeatedly over getting outdoors but I guess there are so many of us now that if everyone was out and about the whole time the world would seem pretty full.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am pretty new to this in fact very new. I am currently looking to stay in the US to complete a short stint with a few conservation guys from a college to help complete my Masters project on national park and human security issues in an East African protected area. I am going to go and offer my place up back home as I came across CS in Costa Rica and met an awesome person so am all for it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Costa Rica - stayed for a few weeks with one of the kindest and most correctly indignant and just people I know, awesome girl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove a Routemaster double decker bus with two mates from the UK to South Africa. I have been pretty lucky with almost a third of the world's countries visited to date.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like open-minded people that to not hold very staunch opinions without even considering another angle. I enjoy chatting about human behaviour and our place in the world and perhpas what duties should have come from being such a force of change on the formerly very differnt environment. I think you can learn from almost everyone even if it could be patience that is your lesson.
