I live in rural Hawaii. This is about 9 miles from Hilo. Please be aware that public transportation is not that good on the Big Island and we live about 2 miles from the nearest bus stop. I highly recommend that you rent a car. But if that is not in your budget consider other ridesharing or options such as Uber. We can not provide transportation to our location or other sites and our car is not available for rental. There are rental sites such as turo.com you might consider.

I grew up in Utrecht, but I live in Hawaii. I studied Environmental Studies at the University of Hawaii and graduated in December 2014 from this university. I'm married, but my couch is open for all people! As we live together, we like very much the company of visitors, such as CSers.
