ABOUT ME

We are Emma and Becca, two good friends who live and work as a photographer and writer in Brighton, on the southern coast of England. Looking for adventure, to travel and explore new countries, cities and places. We are interested in meeting people who will welcome us into their homes to teach us a little about the city they live in and their experience of life there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love both cooking and eating, drinking a large amount of coffee and learning more about wine and food by sharing a meal with the people we meet. We would love to cook for our potential hosts, and sit down to talk over good food and some drinks to learn more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Becca has worked for a US based school in Conneticut, New England and stayed on a friend's couch as a result in New York for two weeks. Also visited Kyoto and Toyota in Japan for three weeks, staying with host families as part of a music tour. Emma is used to travelling with contacts and stays in Thailand, Canada and Finland to name a few!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We are both keen to travel more, but not to fit as much in as possible but rather absorb a new place or a new city by understanding the people and the culture as opposed to the tourist destinations. Between us we have been lucky enough to visit Japan, USA, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Malta, Croatia, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Thailand and Australia and we hope to add more 'pins to our world map'
