About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do my part

ABOUT ME

I am trying to make the real world more like the dream ones and am still figuring out the balance between respectful adulthood with youthful desires otherwise known as good times. I follow politics and sports too closely. I like couchsurfing because I think it helps create alternative and positive communities that try to operate outside of our corrupt hyper capitalist system. Also I think I am funny, relaxed, and I don't eat much meat or dairy but I have a love of sausage

PHILOSOPHY

Just try to do the simple goods and hope that somehow it all works out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and now I wait to host but no one comes to Gainesville and there are a lot of hosts here, and my couch is really small.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Oakland and San Fransisco for a week and it ruled.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of the works of Alan Moore, Herman Hesse, Chris Marker, Errol Morris, Al Burian, J.D Salinger, Ursela K. LeGuin, the folks at Harpers, thoughtful zine writiers, good historians, Ira Glass, other NPR hosts, TORCHE, the Minutemen, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, The Door-Keys, The Mountain Goats, Wu-Tang Clan, Fugazi, Wilco, The Ergs!, Neil Young, Black Sabbath, Sun Ra, This Bike is a Pipe Bomb and so many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Came out of a hole cut into my mothers belly, went to Alaska, Guatemala.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a decent cook, and gardener, know some history, basic bike repair, and rudimentary spanish.
