I grew up in Western Washington, and am now living in Japan! I don't have much time for anything- being a student steals time like crazy. I'd to start traveling about eventually (*cough*postgrad*cough*), and get more experience in the world. I think I have a lot to learn that only traveling will teach me.

I love cats, but dogs are great too- I just don't like those small ones. (If they're that small, why not get a cat?!) Tigers are my favorite animal- I dream of being close enough to pet one one day.

Interests

I love to cook, and bake (and eat). I go through phases of working out and not working out, just depending on how I feel. I am interested in many things actually, so it's hard to figure out what to put here- topics like Philosophy, Geology, Economics, psychology, sociology, politics, they're all interesting topics that I enjoy conversation about, or reading about. I just don't have the attention to study them!

I am not so big on sports, but if invited to play a game I'll join- so long as I'm not too exhausted, mentally or physically. When I was in High School I was on a league for Bowling, so I'm always down for that.

Living in Tokyo, I found that I enjoy just wandering around, walking with no specific direction. It's great fun, and interesting to see when you end up!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, so to list books would be difficult- some prominent favorite authors are: Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Anne McCaffery, Tamora Pierce, Jean M. Auel, Markus Zusac, Sylvia Plath, JK Rowling, and James Patterson.

I like watching movies, but I don't tend to watch them on my own. I always choose TV shows over movies- I like seeing a whole world, and getting a more in depth view of the characters.

For music, I listen to just about everything. There are some that annoy me of course, and others that I just will turn off or switch but if I'm with others and they enjoy it I'm good for whatever. My favorite artists include Dev, The Cataracs, Sol (from Seattle, not Korea), The Weeknd, Hoodie Allen, G-Dragon, Zedd, Crossfade, Iggy Azalea, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, 3OH!3 and Kesha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to a whole new country, without assistance! To me, this was the hardest thing I've done, so one of the most amazing.
