About Me
ABOUT ME
A Brazilian anthropologist living in Montreal. Been in Couchsurfing (and Hospitality Club before that) since 2007, so quite experienced :) Love a good conversation about anything and everything, having good laughters about silly (and not so silly) subjects, super easygoing, understanding and responsible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Love being with people, I guess for me people are the best way of getting to know a place (people ARE the place, really, though maybe that's just the anthropologist talking lol), sharing ideas, experiences, etc. The whole atmosphere of mutual solidarity Couchsurfing implies really speaks to me in many ways.
Interests
Vegan food, literature, world cinema, samba, jazz, rock, and chatting, love a good conversation, the deep ones and the funny ones.

Music, Movies, and Books
To mention just one-ish of each:
Music: Radiohead
Books: Hopscotch (Rayuela), by Julio Cortázar (ok, also anything by Ursula Le Guin). Also, some things by Miranda July are just amazing.
Films: Anything by Linklater, Varda, Kieslowski, and sensitive/critical/poetical movies from around the world in general.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ouf, so many. Nothing reaaaally extraordinary, just stuff that I can make sound more fascinating than they really were. No spoilers tho, we can talk about it once we meet if you want.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach languages, share fieldwork experiences from my research in industrial towns around the world, also Brazilian, Bolivian, and Canadian culture in general. Also, people say I'm a great listener if you need someone to talk to :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Chile, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Morocco, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Brazil, Canada, Portugal
