About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just a NYer living in Germany!!!

ABOUT ME
I moved to Germany in 2012, from New York City. While living in NYC I worked as a creative in advertising and in film/television/commercial/print production. My artwork has been featured on Nickelodeon, MTV, Logo and CBS.

Even though I miss New York City, I have found living in Europe to be quite exciting. I currently organize a big art event in Düsseldorf and try be actively involved in the community.

Additionally, I love to travel of course. I have been able to travel extensively in the US... I also been to the Bahamas, Mexico, Holland (Zeeland), Switzerland, and Luxembourg. I enjoy experience new cultures and meeting new people.

I now organize the Behance Events for artists and creatives living in/or NRW. So far I hosted four successful events with speakrs.

I am the type of person that is out-going, yet I can be very laid back.

UPDATE...
So I started a new job in Karlsruhe, I will be working there 3 days a week during the three month probation period. After the probation period 2 days week. The fun commuting! I will probably book mostly through Airbnb, but I think from time to time it could be fun to meet new people in Karlsruhe via Couchsurfing! It would be a great way to meet new people and learn more about the city.

PHILOSOPHY

That is a good question...
As an organizer of an art an event I think it is important for creatives and artists to network, connect, share, and inspire.

As me being me: Simply enjoy life, explore the world, experience new cultures, try new things... There is only so much time, why not take advantage of it and really enjoy your life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I am beginning to be asked to participate in various conferences and events, my travels will grow.

I hope that while I travel I can meet amazing people and friends while exploring new places.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as movies go.... that is really tough. I have so many favorites.

But here is a handful: O' Brother Where Art Thou, Amelie, The Big Lebowski, The Lives Of Others, Inglorious Bastards, Taxi Driver, Benjamin Button, Goodfellas (I am NYer so of course), Up, etc.

TV: AMC's the Walking Dead, Riverdale, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Gotham, The Flash, Stranger Things, Orange Is The New Black, The Good Doctor, etc. I am sure I will have to update this again as Gotham and OITNB is ending.

Music: I like everything from Rock to Jazz to Funk to Swing to Rap and maybe just a tad bit of Country (Johnny Cash for example is a must).

Books: Ok, I prefer art books... but yes I do read from time to time. I am well read and love the American classics... I used to go to Central Park and read from time to time.

Magazines: Juxtapoz, Advanced Photoshop, Photoshop Creative, Computer Arats, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow... this is getting really in-depth. I think life is so full of amazing moments and that everyday there is a chance to see something incredible.

But I will share one that stands out....
I love New York Fashion Week and used to attend with my friends. One time we were able to go to the Diesel after party. There was a big stage, and we had no idea who was going to perform. My friends left, but I decided to stay and I am so glad that I did. About 20 minutes after my friends left, James Brown walked out on stage! He performed for about an hour and half. To see an iconic legend perform at his age with so much energy was amazing. A few months later he passed away (sadly), so this was a chance of a lifetime.

Because of my work I have been able to around several notable people. But seeing James Brown perform was something I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been using Photoshop since 1994, so I can easily give lessons or tutorials on how to work on projects.

I also have a background in film/tv/commercial/print production. So if you are working on a project then there is a chance that I could offer some advice. Not only do I have production experience I also taught at well known French Film Academy in NYC as the technical English Instructor.

I also have a strong background in working as a creative in advertising. Thus, if you need ideas on how to market a product or business I could give you advice.

I also have worked on several photoshoots, so if you need portraits of yourself then I could help you out with that or if you want to work on a creative project then I could help out too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a digital artist...
I began using Adobe Photoshop years ago. I also mastered Adobe Illustrator! So I can always help people out with design work from time to time. Or give a few lessons.

I also am a traditional illustrator, so I can teach people how to draw or help them on creative projects.

On top of this I am a pro when it comes to Marketing, Influencer Marketing, PR, Social Media and Content Creation! So if you need tips in this area I can help out.

If people want to attend a Museum or Art Gallery or relaxing in a coffee shop.... then I am always up for this kind of thing.
