I have been shooting photos for over 8 years now and am getting ready to launch my own business. I'm very open minded, laid back, easy going, and adventurous. Also very reliable and trustworthy person. If you need my help with something, just ask and I'll be glad to help! I've lived in Alaska my entire life until I ventured down to Colorado last fall for the ski season...pretty epic winter! I'm the type of person with a very strong will and spontaneous spirit. It's not unusual for me to go on a 100 mile road trip through a mountain pass road covered in ice/snow at 2am just to take some photos of the stars if the sky is clear. Sometimes I'll just wander off into the woods to listen to birds and observe any other wildlife or insects nearby.

PHILOSOPHY

Stay true to your own vision in life because not everyone else may see it. Pack a bag and book a one way ticket to somewhere you have never been in the world. From there, follow your heart and go wherever the universe takes you. You will learn so much about yourself and what you're capable of that you won't learn in a University.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the northern lights in Alaska.

Attended the music festival Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium.

Hiked to the top of a mountain in Alaska and snowboarded down.

Spent a winter season in Breckenridge, Colorado snowboarding every week!

Bought a car in California and drove it back to Colorado within 18 hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been snowboarding since I was 12 and also instructed for two years. I can definitely teach you a thing or two about snowboarding :).

Also love teaching people about photography -- proper focusing techniques, exposure, lighting, etc. -- Ask me any questions you want about your camera and I would be glad to help out.

I love learning new things. When I have a conversation with another person or group, I'm always listening for new life experiences/successes/mistakes. If you have something you know a lot about, I would love to learn about it!
