ABOUT ME
hello! my name is Julio, I am spanish and at the moment and for the last three years i have been living in the UK. I am very passionate about mountain sports such as rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking, hiking.. could finish with them but to sum up, i like to get out and disconnect while exercising in nature. I enjoy very much a cultural scape in a new city to me (or not so new) and having a beer in a pub terrace is a pleasure of live to me. one of my favourite thing is exploring the world, and that is why I find couch surfing just amazing, giving you the option to meet people from all over the globe, with different ideas and cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted in few places but, unfortunately, because of my renting situation I haven't been able to host anybody yet, although at the moment it is getting better and i may have my first guess as soon as anybody is interested in coming to chepstow, a little village in Walles.
As I said before, I just love the idea of couchsurfing because the possibility of interaction between different people with different ideas and cultures, although a similar ones would be worthwhile as well, and the potential for learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open to different music styles, sometimes anything is nice if the situation works that way and you are surrounded by the right companionship.
Anyway I love ska music, rock, gipsy jazz.. over all. To point few bands out I could mention the skatalites, bad manners, madness, the class, la gran orquesta republicana, talco, gogol bordelo..

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like learning from friends or people I've just met. it'd be really interesting to hear from any couchserfer's experiences.
To teach.. I could mention some of my current job's knowledge as I'm an organic veg grower, or anything about mountaineering (more experienced mountain nurds, I'm very very happy to learn from you too). I could teach you a bit of spanish or some of the culture from the place Im from. or even anything Ive learnt about the UK in my 3 years on the island!
