My interest in other countries and cultures has driven me to pursue my studies in International Trade. This is my second time in Canada, but the first time I have LIVED in another country. I am an open-minded guy who enjoys making new friends and learning every day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I am interested in meeting other people in Vancouver. I love the opportunity to meet people from other countries and learn about their culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing but have friends in Japan that have met amazing people through the site. I am looking forward to connecting with like-minded people from around this wonderful world.

Interests

I have been playing soccer and baseball since I was a child. I still play them but more often I am on the couch watching. ;)
I am really interested in improving my English ability.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big James Bond fan. Also like Eva Green (Casino Royale). I like Japanese films but not a big animé fan. Also like American and European films.
As for music, I prefer J-pop and British music.
I really like a Japanese author named Yukio Mishima, who writes great Japanese romance stories. I guess that makes me a romantic ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My hometown has a huge volcano called Sakurajima that erupts every day. It is amazing that I have become so used to seeing huge explosions every day without really noticing anymore.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Japanese expressions or even make a few Japanese dishes. I have some sushi in my backpack at all times - just kidding ;)
