Music: The Beatles, Portishead, PJ Harvey,Miles Davies, James Brown, Bob Dylan, The Decemberists, Metz, Daft Punk, Kyuss,Leadbelly, Mogwai...I'll give anything a listen.

Books: Cormac McCarthy is my favourite contemporary author. But a fan of a lot of the classics too. Some favourite authors: Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Hemingway, Jonathan Franzen, Maxine Hong-Kingston, Bret Easton Ellis, Dickens, John Steinbeck and a lot more.
