PHILOSOPHY

Don't do unto others what you don't want done unto you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the exchange of cultures and the possibility of meeting new people and hear many interessting and crazy stories of other travellers. You get a better touch of culture than just staying in a hotel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is just one of the most awsome things in the world. I was travelling trough Canada for 6 month and there I fell in love with Couchsurfing. I would have never imagined that you can meet so many nice and great people and learn so many new things, that is real sharing economy! I totally love it and I´m happy that I´m part of it!

Interests

I like live music and concerts, history, beer, feasts with friends, nature & hiking, sustainability, yoga & meditation and pottery.
I also love to go to special places not many people have seen before like going to a hidden waterfall in Canada with Jimmy, my host there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the Lord of the Rings movies and Breaking Bad. I also like thrillers a lot and adventure movies. Altough I'm afraid of beeing alone in the dark after watching a horror-movie, I can't stop watching them!

I don´t have a favourite music genre, I like Indie, Rock, electronic music and, sometimes, Metal.
Always up to listen to some unknown local Bands whereever I am.

T.C. Boyle is one of my favourite authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I´ve ever done so far was probably hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2019. The experience of companionship between the hikers was unique and the trail was the best place I have been so far.

The most amazing thing I´ve seen was the view of Dantes View at Death Valley, I was speechless about this panorama.

Wwoofing and moose hunting in the Yukon in Canada with it's Northern Lights, the wild animals and the endless nature was definitely a highlight too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you interesting storys from my travels, teach you how to slackline and make Schnitzel with potatoe salad and Kaiserschmarren :)
