I'm a 23 year old geek who likes reading, foreign languages (mostly Japanese), music (especially if it involves Vocaloid/UTAU), video/PC games, and MOOCs.

I haven't yet done anything yet, but I'm interested in surfing.

Intereses

I listen to music a lot, and I'm trying to learn how to write some. I spend more time surfing the Internet than I care to admit. I watch anime and sometimes read manga. I'm a big fan of MOOCs (massive online open courses) and have a bad habit of signing up for too many. I'm mildly serious about learning Japanese, and I'm half tempted to take up Spanish again (I took four years of it in high school).

Music: Vocaloid/UTAU (it's technically an instrument not a genre, but I'm not picky about genre), classical
Books: Yes please. My favorite writers are Kurt Vonnegut, Amy Tan, and Neil Gaiman. Some of my favorite books are Timequake, The Opposite of Fate, American Gods, Who on Earth is Tom Baker?, and Paper Towns.

I went on a trip to Ireland for a short term class in January 2011, and I'm still not over it (ie I want to go back).
