Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used Couchsurfing when I studied in Europe in 2014. The people I met through CS made each trip more badass than if I would have stayed in more typical accommodations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listening to another person's library/playlists is always a good time. Right now I'm fixated on anything with live instruments and good vocals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked through Europe with a fractured vertebra! CS played a HUGE role in all my cool experiences abroad. Staying in a 100% green shack in a garden in the mountains overlooking Menton, on a houseboat in the canals of Amsterdam, trading stories with hitchhikers from Serbia and our host in Prague. So many cool things, but looking forward to topping them!

Teach, Learn, Share

Nothing beats sitting around with people (whether they're from around the world, or down the street) and sharing stories and experiences. The destinations are important, but leaving a part of you and taking a part of people with you is the most important.
