Heya, I'm Marco. Portuguese born and bred however have lived in the UK for the last 10 years, between Cambridge, Colchester and now London (yeahhh boyyyy).

I've hosted people when I was living in Portugal and joined a few couchsurfing events when traveling.

Interests

Apart from the usual, run of the mill "films/going out" etc. I´m tempted to say music (as I used to belong to a few bands as a drummer - totally amateur though) and I love to travel

Music, Movies, and Books

Music of all sorts except probably death metal and more heavy electronic music.

Bands (it will give a feel to what I usually listen to): Dave Matthews Band, Nizlopi, Placebo, Foo Fighters, Jamiroquai, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Goo Goo Dolls, The Cure, Third Eye Blind, Prodigy, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bastille, Daughter, 80´s music :D

Edit (2020): Kind of got into Electronic music lately. Likes of Maribou State, Tourist, Eelke Kleijn, Jamie XX, George FitzGerald, Caribou, Bicep, Kiasmos, Ben Böhmer, Oliver Koletzki and more!

Movies: Usually Drama, Horror, Fantasy and Sci-Fi. All of them except musicals (apart from Moulin Rouge). Matrix, Braveheart, Before Sunrise/Sunset and After Midnight, It Follows, El Orfanato, Sinister and all Hayao Miyazaki movies.

Favourite TV Series: Mr Robot (my fav), Stranger Things, Hannibal, Vikings, Breaking Bad, American Horror Story, Heroes (first season), Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother, The Peep Show, Fringe, Band of Brothers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one is hard...it´s not really what I´ve seen or done, it´s more like there are times when everything is set up to you as if someone or something is moving pieces in a chessboard and guiding you throughout your journey.

Something like that happened to me and made me who I am at this stage and gave me good friends.
