ABOUT ME

Ah, the unavoidable question...
Well, I was a guy expatriated in Japan and having virtually no social life since the beginning of this mission. And fed up of it. Currently, I'm still a guy, but no more in Japan. But still hungry for meeting foreign people, especially as I've just finished my round trip, so "If I can't come to the world, the world will come to me"
I like travelling a lot, cinema, books and other weird stuff that could scare some people if I was more precise ^^.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted, mmmm, 10 nice people since I subscribed. Strangely enough, Utsunomiya didn't seem to motivate people. I wonder why ??! ^^ (even Versailles was not getting a lot of requests, and Longjumeau... OK, I can understand for this one ^^)
On the other hand, I was hosted n times by mostly charming people (am I the only one to think some people adjectives are a bit redundant ?)

Interessi

- Travelling (never expected it would become such an addiction)
- Cinema, more specifically all kinds of movies ^^
- Comics from all possible countries (which reminds me that I have to learn korean to understand what's going on in that manhwa)
- Foreign languages (always trying to learn a few words of the countries where I travel, damn, mongolian pronunciation was hard)
- Cats, even if their language is tricky to learn...
- Video Games, especially retro ones (Sega vs Nintendo ? Best fight in human history)
- Other miscellaneous stuff, such as politics voodoo dolls, giant robots shining at the sunset, animation from various countries...

Anyway, I reached a point of cine-bulimia so I have a tendency to forget even movies that enchanted me last year. But for 2014, an outstanding year, let's quote 12 Years a Slave, Wings, All quiet on the Western Front, der blaue Engel, Anatomy of a Murder, The Ghost and Mrs Muir, the Sting, Au bord du Monde, the Best Offer, the Good the Bad and the Ugly, Blue Velvet, Boyhood, Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari, Captain America 2, a Letter to three wives, Song of the Sea, Kaguyahime no monogatari, Dallas Buyers Club, How to train your dragon 2, Edge of Tomorrow... See, there are too many !
Not too much into music, I appreciate some artists for one car ride and then drop them. Didier Super rules, though.
Books ? Oh my, have swallowed some Hemingway goodness like crazy recently and then stuck to comics... Otherwise, Gaiman, Pratchett, Vernes, King, Pennac, Lovecraft, Crichton, Clarke...
