CURRENT MISSION

Meet a Dragon, walk on Mars, find the source of Magic

ABOUT ME

33 years old, married, 3 brothers, studies in different parts of France. Lived and worked 3 years in Paris. Left everything to make a round the world travel, to meet a Dragon, walk on Mars and find the source of Magic. Now back and settled in Grenoble for a while.

PHILOSOPHY

Be pragmactic. Be a dreamer. Be simple. Be a local. Be yourself.

Demain est un autre jour, et il y a des jours tous les jours !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thanks to LeBunty and Machoulia, I discovered CouchSurfing. Then my former flatmate and I began hosting. Then I traveled around the world during 18 months. Then I came back to Grenoble and found it amazing !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started hosting a bunch of people in early 2009, back in Paris. Surfed in some place around the world. Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Australia, Chile, Argentina, Brasil, USA, India. Surfed on a boat. Surfed in a tent. Surfed on a trainstation floor. Surfed in a hammock. Surfed on a beach.

Interests

Photography, music (have a clarinet, a flute and a guitar home) science and science-fiction, literature, strategy, diplomacy, geopolitics, bande-dessinée (french comics), medieval fantasy, computer science, role playing games, board games, sports (roller, soccer ...), sailing

Music, Movies, and Books

Playing guitar, clarinet, flute (badly, but I do !). Do not hesitate to bring me some music score. I thought about writing a book on my RTW travel. Otherwise, Hugo and Nebula awards are my principal source of documentation, with a few classics. My favourites subjects are somewhere between science fiction, bande dessinée, geopolitics, history. To name a few: Dune, Asimov' Foundation, The lord of the rings, La horde des contrevents, La zone du dehors, 2001 space odyssey, do android dream of electronic sheep ?, martian time-slipe, ubik, machiavel, diplomacy ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Beeing on a boat a see a huge whale jump out of the water a few meters away? I nearly drop my coffee. To see the stars from the middle of the desert ? Beeing at the top of the highest mountain of the surrounding and see the sunrise from far far away ? To see pure love in one's eyes ? To play music and make love to it ? To work for a worldwide company for a while and finally say "No more. Enough of it." ? To travel the world around and meet mankind ?
