ABOUT ME

As I am travelling with my amazing boyfriend Erik right now (who is shown in my profile pic) here is a little about him first:
He is smart, funny, knowledgeable, intelligent, tolerant, respectful, outgoing - ....AND a couch surfing fetus :D
So I am taking careful baby steps to introduce him to this wonderful concept :)
He is from Colorado and has traveled many times within the US and to Japan.
His interests: Computers, science, logic, internet culture, psychology, movies, cryptocurrencies ... and Saabs.
We are a beautifully matching couple and I am continuously baffled that we found each other given the odds!!

About myself:
I am much younger mentally than biologically, I still haven't figured out if that's a good or bad thing ;-)) It makes me feel alive to have adventures, experience everything to the fullest if possible...

(a bit of) chaos is slightly part of my life, I guess ;o) and I am mostly late when it comes to appointments - something I want to work on! What I am also working on intensively is self-improvement, developing the mind and connecting to the soul. - BIG SUBJECT :)
Usually I'm full of energy, sometimes I can be lazy (but not too much:). I like to have long, deep, challenging discussions and I can also talk a lot of sarcastic BS - I love it ;D

I do smile and laugh quite often...and can be pretty cheeky.

I will usually say what i actually think and i appreciate other people doing this as well. Apparently I ask lots of questions - other people told me so ;) Some people might feel offended by that cause to them it'll seem like I'm questioning or doubting them. But the only thing I am is being interested and analytical.

I'm not a great cook, but I can make salads, I am getting more and more into raw food.
Sometimes I like jumping on the street, just cause I feel like it. Moving around with my body is part of feeling freedom!

I am a pretty emotional type of person...i think a lot...
I respect animals more than the average human being and I tend to have a problem with people who don't do that.
I get fascinated by dealing with and watching animals...
Animals are always innocent - and people are always guilty.

Oh, something that is weird about me is that I freeze much much easier than the average person, that's why I usually wear 3 jackets and 2 scarfs ;-)))
Anyway, this is as much as I can think of for now, You will find out more once we meet....!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS-experience started in Sep. 2008 in Australia, at the west coast, went on in Berlin, Mongolia and in Canada. And now progressing in the States.
And: I am enjoying it a lot!

Interests

Developing myself, my mind, my intuition.

Raw Food.

Talking, discussions, laughing, playing chess, pool, table tennis (not that I am good at this, but I enjoy doing it!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Books from Steven Hawking....science books about the universe basically, about day to day life in the late middle age, the Wild West...
Musicwise I am into most kinds of Metal (Obituary, Pantera, the old Metallica stuff, Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth, old Manowar stuff, Dark Tranquillity, Blind Guardian, Children of Bodom, As I Lay Dying, Kataklysm..blabla..there is just too many ;))
I also like old Rock (Doors, ACDC, WASP, Black Sabbath, DIO), some Blues Rock, some 80-s Pop (Alphaville for example), I also get goose bumps from a lot of film music from Wild West movies like "The good, the bad and the ugly".
Oh yeah, I do like Gentleman too ;D!
Movies: I love good horror movies, comedies, psycho thrillers, dramas.....e.g. Forrest Gump, Saw I, Castaway, Seven... - Happy Tree Friends and: I love the show "The King Of Queens"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing was probably Monument Valley in Arizona....beautiful, just beautiful landscape! Also the desert in Egypt (unfortunaltely I didn't make it to the Sphinx.....verdammt!) also The Breakaways and the Simpson Desert in Australia.
Oh, and another amazing thing was when the wall came down in Berlin and I crossed the border to West-Berlin for the first time...I looked back and the only thing I saw were hundreds of happy and smiling faces...have never seen that again since....ah, and walking thru "low" tide to get to Uoleva Island, from one island to the other - this was in Tonga..amazing it was because I could have aswell gotten washed away by the current...!!!
It is also amazing that i still have 2 arms, 2 legs, 10 fingers and 10 toes and on top of that I am quite healthy...anybody who is able to state this should be amazed and thankful, cuz this is a serious privilege!

Hm,...what could I share? A bunch of stories from my travels...also some language exchange...the way I think about things...I'm pretty shareful ;-)

About teaching I'm not sure at the moment! Definately no cooking! And no politics as i have no idea about them!

About learning: russian language - gotta get better at that one....uhmmm I got many other interests: the universe, the late middle age, the Wild West and many other parts of the history.....mankind, brain functions, psychology, the immense power of thoughts, nlp...how food influences body functions, the theory of relativity, travel hints....communicating with animals/horses...
