Hey! I’m Katryána (but Kat is fine, too).

I’m originally from the southern Appalachians (NC), but I’ve been living in CA the last few years. I usually work as a park ranger, but I’ve been going back to school recently.

I’m trying to figure out where to land and what direction to go in after many life changes in the last year. I’ve been mostly on the road the last couple months. It can be exciting and adventurous, but it’s also lonely sometimes. I’m hoping to find people/ community to connect with along the way. I’m also interested in work-exchange or WWOOFing situations. I like the feeling of being part of something and giving back in some way. I’d love to help out with your garden, chores around the house, lending a listening ear, etc. Thanks for reading!

Update: As of late October 2019, I plan to start the Camino Catalan from Barcelona, Spain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Got myself stuck on a far off-route ledge during a solo trip in some NZ mountains; I saved my urine for drinking. Makes me remember how great it is to be alive.
