Interests

Traveling, laughing, the outdoors including: hiking, rock climbing and mountaineering, pickup sports like soccer/football/frisbee, cooking, live music, reading a good book, hanging out with friends, drinking delicious beer and or wine, meeting new people and seeing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Spirited Away, Un Prophet, En la Cama (loved this one), Requiem for a Dream, Stupid movies like Super Troopers ;), Forrest Gump :P, Amadeus, Girl Interrupted, Closely Watched Trains
Music: anything that makes me feel something or that I can dance to ;)
Books: The Millenium Trilogy, The Looming Tower, Love in the Time of Cholera, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2011, I traveled for four months to 16 countries in Europe by myself and learned how to hitch hike (one of my bucket list items.) IT. WAS. AWESOME.

Other fun facts:I've seen my grandfather's hometown in Poland and my grandmother's hometown in Romania. There, a man told me that when he was 11 years old, he remembers my great grandfather getting shot in the chest (by anti-Semites) and surviving, which brought tears to his eyes, and consequently mine.

I've fed a 400 pound bear honey, after which he appropriately responded by sneazing bear juice all over my face.
