About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Attain full flexibility! Do side splits!

ABOUT ME

I am a teacher. I am a student. I dance in my home. I am pretty friendly to everyone I meet unless I get a "stay away" vibe from someone...then I'll put that person out of my radar. I like people who make me laugh. And the humor that I like is the dorky-type of humor. Woody Allen is funny. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because if I didn't...no one would. It's a tough job (and I know it's cliche...) buuuuut someone's gotta do it.

What you give comes back to you 10 fold.

Kindness is free. (thanks, mom)

All this learning...when all I have to do is remember.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots. Biggies=FLORENCE, Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Rachael Yamagata, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sia, Celine Dion, Massive Attack, Josh Groban, Black Eyed Peas, Cat Stevens, The Fray, Goldfinger, all sorts.

I am reading Quantum Success right now.
Come to Me is on my list! Can't wait to get it. I've read AWAY by Amy Bloom and although I found her to be a very convoluted writer at times, I enjoyed her book tons.

I like Amelie, Big Fish, Rent, Mamma Mia, Kabhi Khushi Khabi Gham

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something amazing: I skipped along and down a hill with a Buddhist monk. Mucho fun.

I used to play steel pan (triple cello) in college.

I used to toss a flag around on a football field (color guard) ^^

I was a raw vegan for half a year--best days of my life...(energy-wise) but gee, it's been a tough road to get back to that place!

I have met some celebrities and noteworthy human beings in my days. Meeting them has taught me that no one is any better than anyone else on the face of our planet. :-D People are just people...trying to do the best they can...and get through this experience we call LIFE.

Teach, Learn, Share

Quotes. I like quotes. Here ya go:

"Then the time came when the risk it took
To remain tight in a bud was more painful
Than the risk it took to blossom."--Anais Nin

Man's love is of man's life a thing apart. 'Tis a woman's whole existence.--Byron

I eat raw and living foods to have mental clarity. When I eat raw, I feel whole. Yippee!
