Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few travelers independently of couch surfing over the years until a German friend introduced me and CS. I have stayed at a number of places around South America in 2009 but now am back on the CS scene.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always enjoy meeting new people on the road. Couch surfing has showed me a great way that locals can stay in touch with the traveling mindset in their own town. I have really enjoyed the personal touch that couch surfing gives. It has taken me to places I would never have ventured otherwise, and brings people to me that I may never had met.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favorite movies is: The Lives of Others. But I watch many films, too many to name. Recent books I have enjoyed are: Sidartha by Herman Hesse and The Curse of Lono by Hunter S. Thompson. Music........(long and varied list)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to the wildest corners of New Zealand and wandering around with my compass. Taking Ayahausca with a shaman in the Amazon jungle.
