About Me

ABOUT ME
I am taking THE JOURNEY, finally. Of course to Japan. Meanwhile I'll be documenting stories for my own mini series. I will be traveling alone starting from Tokyo to north, south, west, all around. Planning to hh because firstly you meet amazing people on the road, secondly you restore your belief on human kindness, thirdly I'd rather spend that money on my movie production.

Here's some things about me:
1- One of my favorite things is having my hands in my pockets.
2- I like the wasabi getting into my mouth but coming out from my eyes.
3- I dislike people who ask "how are you?" but leave before the answer.
4- I worship cinnamon.
5- My childhood hero was Evliya Celebi, an ancient globe trotter.
6- My biggest nightmare when I was a child, was the possibility of getting married to a butcher.
7- I am a cardigan freak.
8- I never wake up for pee.
9- Most domestic side of me is the love of stoneware.
10- When I learn to dress up compatible with the weather I will stop asking "why I'm sent to here".
11- I like to smell long term travelers.
12- I think nihilism can't be an excuse for unhappiness.
13- I'm a really slow traveler. I like it that way.
14- I don't understand age concept. I'm shocked every time I say "i'm 38". Whaaat, when did it happen, why nobody let me know?!
15- I'm addicted to my dreams since they give me puzzles to solve. I have one puzzle hoping to solve in Japan. Or maybe more, little did I know...
16- Sometimes simplicity takes over, sometimes expressionism. I am as I feel.
16- http://feketeleves.wordpress.com/ (my abandoned blog)
17- https://www.flickr.com/photos/7360142@N03/albums/ (my abandoned flickr account)
18- so long and thanks for all the fishes.

PHILOSOPHY
be careful what you wish for.

the things that other people have put into my head, at any rate, do not fit together nicely, are often useless and ugly, are out of proportion with another, are out of proportion with life as it really is outside of my head. by vonnegut

Music, Movies, and Books

music...i don't listen to music when I don't have a mood. when i do have a mood music becomes my soundtrack. so i can't specify.

kafka and camus fucked up my younghood but I discovered kurt vonnegut (may he rest in peace). dune (was my bible), hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy (I know what 42 means), tom robins, nabokov, hoimar von dittfurth, joseph campbell (is the person whom I'd like to talk with on the other side), ihsan oktay anar, edip cansever, evliya celebi and so on...by the way, is there anyone who read "principia discordia" out there?

movies...many. but michel gondry and wes anderson is my cup of cake. miyazaki is my default setting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

as if the planet itself not enough to be amazed by.
witnessing the reflection of milky way on the sea was fantastic.
going alone to the roskilde festival (a big time danish event) but making many friends, getting compliments for being bold (being a girl alone anywhere is a bold thing apparently).
hearing and owl flying above with no flap sound when camping on my sound equipment.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach some basic lindyhop figures. can create culinary accidents like salmon taste beans. can teach you how not to make your film.

i would like to learn how to drive a car.

show me where questions lay their head.
