About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to get better at decisions as well as getting used to not always be able to decide

ABOUT ME

laughing. sleeping. eating. capoeira. real hugs. languages. maths. talking. cycling. bicycles. chocolate. from bosnia. in austria. to somewhere else. undecided. stressed sometimes. trying not to be stressed. unreasonable sometimes. too rational at other times. walking with music in my ears.

PHILOSOPHY

my "personal philosophy" changes every day, depending on the topics i think about and the problems i'm trying to solve. in general i'm optimistic and i try to make the best out of a situation.

edit: sometimes i'm also a drama queen ... as i found out recently

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

whenever my housing situation allowed it to me, i was hosting people, either via my profile or via my flatmates'. also, i surfed myself, met for coffees, walks etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

went to a bonfire in krakow which was very nice. it's cool to get to know new people and i enjoyed that it's not weird just to start talking to a complete stranger.

edit: surfed couches for the first time. until i'm an old weird, frustrated woman who hates everyone and everything i don't feel like staying in a hotel. (hmm ... although i don't know why i should wanna travel if i'm like this ...)

edit: surfed even more couches and hosted in the shared flat where i lived for about half a year almost once a week. now i'm gonna get this all back when i'm in the u.s. muhahahahha (notice: this should be an evil laugh and you have to imagine a thunder sound in the background)

edit: been a surfer in the u.s. and a host in lisbon.

Interests

short version: eating, sleeping, laughing :)

long version:
all kinds of foods, from mc donalds to things whose description is so long that in the end i forget how it started.
capoeira, now more into angola then regional. learned to play the berimbau the other day.
talking. a lot. to a lot of people.
earrings. that's my girly superficial me. and i love it!
making politically incorrect jokes. mostly about foreigners, because i'm allowed to do that. (yes, i came with my family to austria to exploit the healthcare system and to undermine the austrian culture with our bosnian language)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

we were in a turkish café in vienna and in the evening a woman started singing. i told her how beautiful it sounds. she convinced the owner and his brother to play the saz. i didn't understand a word of what they sang, but it was one of the most emotional moments ever (ok ... there are some more emotional moments ... but keeping in mind that i didn't understand what the songs were about, it was quite astonishing!)

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach you everything i know,
i wanna learn everything else,
i want to share food, laughs and hugs (real ones, not the ones where you barely touch each other's shoulder for a second).
