CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in California, i had lived the Nomad/Bohemian/Vagabond/Gypsy life for a long time (i.e everything i own i could fit in my backpack). Now i've slowed down and prefer living and working instead of traveling in a foreign country. Discovered hitch hiking when i went to Europe and ended up traveling 15 countries in 8 months and hitching almost 10,000 kilometers. I want to travel all 7 continents by the time I'm 30. I just finished shooting my first feature film after traveling through Asia for 8 months, called Quiet Place in the Universe. check out https://vimeo.com/57314780 for the film.FAVORITE PLACES TO HITCH HIKE: THAILAND, EQUADOR, CHINA & CANADAIve spent a total of two years in a foreign country now and ive changed the way i look at life. Its not about seeing ¨famous landmarks but about connecting with people and nature. I dont see myself stopping traveling anytime soon. Im on a journey that can never end...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiking from Amsterdam to Odessa then down to Istanbul
Visiting Jimi Hendrix's castle ın Morocco
Trekking and getting lost in Ladakh, India and almost starving to death but getting saved by a group of Germans before it was too late on a 5,000 meter pass!
Seeing the Dalai Lama teach in Kalimpong, West Bengal.
Witnessing the Thaipusum festival in Palani, Tamil Nadu India. Thousands of pilgrims walking to one temple, piercing their cheeks with eight foot spears. Unbelievable!
Hitching from Seattle up to Homer, Alaska. Tripping on shrooms up in Yukon Territory watching the midnight sun.
Long distance bycycling through Myanmar
Train hoppping across the north of Italy

Teach, Learn, Share

A man travels to Amsterdam. He asks a local on the street, "What should I see in Amsterdam?" The man replys, "It's not what you see in Amsterdam, it's what you see in yourself."

There is a vast difference between a 'tourist' and a 'traveler.' The 'tourist' goes to visit a faraway place, stays for a few days or weeks, and then returns home. But the 'traveler' is at home wherever he may be visiting.
