ABOUT ME

I have been using CS for quite a long time now, and i always had amazing experiences. Hope to meet you soon!

PHILOSOPHY

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The best way to participate in this wonderful project is to be the best guest or host possible, and to spread the word about the website to all nice people you know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my greatest experience was 2009 New Years Eve in Edinburgh when i hosted an awesome bunch of twelve people for a few days in my flat. We had an amazing time all together and partied properly!

Another unforgettable experience was the Barranquilla Carnival of 2011. We were about 20 people coming from all over the world hosted in Campeche by a very nice colombian guy. Campeche is a very small village half an hour from barranquilla, but it has its own carnival, and it was a proper popular fiesta. We couldn't walk 10 meters without being invited to share a drink, a snack and a good laugh or conversation with the locals. We had an amazing time and i made long lasting friendships during those crazy days.

Interests

Learning and sharing is my leitmotiv at the moment. It includes having a lot of fun, meeting new people, discovering new cultures and places...

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's talk about it, there is too much to say to reduce it to a list here !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sneaking in at night in Machu Picchu to enjoy the silence and the view.
Capturing crocodiles barehand with a friend in Brazil.
Crossing Paraguay by hitch-hiking boats
Creating a soap factory in Nepal for underpriviledged women.
Hiking in winter in Canada for 6 hours at night by minus 20 celsius degrees with blue jeans only (this is quite stupid actually).
Climbing the tallest building in Warsaw and getting badly kicked and cuffed for a long time by very angry guards when they found out

Teach, Learn, Share

As a said before, I’m an expert in beaver dams, so if you want to join a beaver community anywhere, I can teach the skills that a person need to be a fully-fledged beaver dam’s builder.
I’m also keen on urban hunting; I can teach you more than twenty two ways of catching a pigeon, and also how to build more than forty five traps for mice, rats, seagulls, rabbits, iguanas, monkeys… I practiced iguana hunting in Guadalupe, monkey hunting in Nepal and India, goat hunting in Mali and now I’m focusing on rabbits and squirrels. Edinburgh is full of them! I love animals :)
