About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore, eat, photograph, and understand the world as best I can before I expire.

ABOUT ME

Well! I've been hopping around Asia for the last three years or so. I've lived in South Korea for two years and China for one year. I also couchsurfed across Japan for a couple months.

I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Michigan studying Information Science. It's a less difficult version of computer science, if you're wondering.

Suffice to say, I'm very passionate about learning through the experiences of others. I'm a very open-minded, calm and patient person. I can get along with a wide variety of people. I don't like putting myself in boxes like these, so ask me if there's anything else you'd like to know.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the idea of community is a powerful thing, and the idea that a community can span states, countries, languages--well, it's just amazing, and CS fosters that sort of community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been an irregular surfer for the last couple of years. I couchsurfed in Sapporo and Tokyo, Japan as well as Chicago and now I'd like to try it in my home country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Three weeks in Sapporo and two weeks in Tokyo. A few days in Chicago. Amazing experiences drinking, socializing, meandering with my hosts and hostesses.
