About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stop making plans!

ABOUT ME

As I don't enjoy reading long descriptions on people's profiles in couchsurfing, I'll keep it short myself: I'm an open-minded and laid-back personality and I try to enjoy life. Generally I like talking to people and learning their stories. But I also like spending weeks without any contacts with society. Well, this was a pretty weird introduction:D

PHILOSOPHY

Don't have personal philosophy, as I studied some philosophy at University (even took it up as a Major for an year - out of strange and still unexplainable interest).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host a lot, now I generally use CS to meet local people in the places I travel to. I also wrote my MA thesis on Couchsurfing some years ago so I guess that involves quite a commitment!:D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been doing CS for almost 4 years, at first I didn't have a profile and travelled around with a friend of mine. And I got really impressed by the people who hosted me(us), so one day, after some consideration("What if my CSurfer turns out to be a serial killer?" and such stuff), I thought, well, maybe I could host s.o. as an attempt: since then I've been hosting so many people, and have had very nice experience with this thing, so I will probably continue to do so, until I reach my limits ( I don't know how far my limits could go, I let myself be surprised:))

Interests

Psychotherapy, Medias, writing STUFF, making things on my own, comix, cartoons, funny people, laughing people, amusing stories, good music+reggae, making solitary promenades in the city I live in, experiencing things I never experienced, taking nice photos, travelling, dogs & cats, books & chats, movies with deep meaning, fairy tales, becoming famous

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Wow, there is a lot to write here! I like everything by Vl. Nabokov and Paul Auster, as well as alsmost everything by Teodora Dimova, Emily Bronte and Ingeborg Bachmann. "Ada" by Nabokov is a very loved one. I've read too much to be able to name a favourite book:)
Music: Reggae and Indie are my preferable genres. I like world mnusic as well, no matter where it comes from. Muse, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpins, Cure, The Pixies, The Smiths, The Killers, all the Indie-styled-thes, also Roots reggae and Reggaeton!
Movies: From Bulgaria: The World is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner, Corridor No 8, The Mosquito Problem and Other Stories, Ivan i Aleksanra, Momcheto si otiva, Ne si otivai From other countries: Absurdistan, Black cat, white cat, Gegen die Wand, Die Welle, Goodbye Lenin, The Child and the Fox, etc. I also love animes and I adore everything from Hayao Miyazaki:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

looking at fireflies from the top of a hill in a summer night; singing in the metro without caring about what people would say; riding my bicycle at night without any idea where I'm headed; writing a poem that actually rhymes; surviving bedbugs; spending a night on a tree hiding from evil horses; breaking about a doz of mirrors without actually becoming broken-hearted

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Spain
