About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I don't believe in missions. I'm a ninja. I have a purpose. Not to be confused with owning a porpoise. Although I wish I had a porpoise. How rad would that be? A ninja with a purpose riding on a porpoise. I digress: finding locals who know the best food!

ABOUT ME

I will follow my dreams and be true to myself, even if it means risking any successes or failures I have created along the way. I will not be chained to any one success or failure. These are fleeting memories along life's path and do not define me, only what I have or have not done. Instead, my path will be determined by my dreams and the truth to which I follow them. This is how I am choosing to live my life. The outcome does not determine who I am, nor do the struggles I have endured along the way. I am a traveler. I am a dreamer. Most importantly, I travel in dreams.

I travel with my dog because he loves traveling & making new friends just as much as me!!

Dog:
4 yrs old, clean, smells good, no fleas. Professional-type dog trained in Germany. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, or will leave them alone if that is what they prefer. He is very calm inside the house. He has his own little bed, dishes, and toys. He would LOVE to play fetch with you! He is extremely good around little kids and is an excellent dog to have around a family. He is not jumping on any furniture, barking, or doing anything crazy. Also, I bring him everywhere with me, so he will never be left alone inside your house. He's a happy awesome dog and everyone falls in love with him! He is well-trained and very, very well behaved.

Shay:
I enjoy doing active outdoorsy things like hiking, mountain biking, cycling, rock climbing and bouldering, running, long walks with or without a destination, dancing, drinking beers, surfing, modern art, and eating pastries!!!

PHILOSOPHY

This is something best discussed over a bottle or two of red wine. Or a nice Riesling.

I enjoy all conversations whether it's simple or deep and very often there is deep within the simple.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2008 I did a 545-mile charity bike ride!!! There were 2,500 cyclists and it took us 1 week to ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, California!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to make some origami, tell a good story, teach some good swearwords in Hebrew, Spanish, Greek and English. I'm a decent photographer, massager, and super soup cooker. I can also learn everything from you. I am very interested to learn your stories, adventures, even the dull day in your life and what that is all about.

I love sharing ted.com talks! Amazing stuff. And inhabitat.com ridiculously incredible green/eco architecture, technology, products, and art.

And for laughs: www.someecards.com
