ABOUT ME

My two passions in life are teaching and traveling!
I'm currently teaching at a high school in Ecuador!

I have a BA in English Education and a certificate in ESL and middle school teaching. I'm also finishing up my Master's Degree in Education from North Dakota State University(working on my thesis/project at the moment).
I was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. Yaa you betcha! And no, it is nothing like the movie...except the portrayal of the bitter cold was about right.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been skydiving, parasailing, ripcording through the jungle, ocean/ whitewater kayaking and white water rafting.

I have taught in China, Costa Rica, Mexico and Taiwan.
I studied abroad in Angers, France and at Oxford University, England.

I spent 6 years as a medic in the ARMY National Guard. I was a part of an infantry unit in Minnesota. I absolutely loved it!
