ABOUT ME

I am a work in progress...

I moved to DC in January of 2011. It is a great city. Whatever you're into, you'll find something relevant to you and your interests in DC. I lived in Dallas for a couple years, and before that I was in Chicago.

This is my first time living on the east coast so I'm also trying to explore the mid-atlantic region with some day- and weekend trips.

Work keeps me pretty busy during the weekdays. In my free time and on the weekends I like to eat out, see live music, hike, bike, go to museums, play video games, and read at the park among other things. Basically... I try to stay pretty active.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some great friends through CouchSurfing.

I started getting involved when living in Chicago. I've hosted in Chicago, Dallas, and DC. I've surfed several states and a few countries. I've met people from all over the world.

Honestly, all you have to do is take a look at my friends and references to see how CouchSurfing has changed my life and the way I travel.

Interests

Current Events. I read (and watch) a lot of news. I'm pretty up on Pop Culture. Politics and public policy are both personal and work-related interests. I like baseball. I play softball and kickball. I read books, watch movies and listen to music (See below).
